Latest teaser confirms Lil Uzi Vert x Fortnite collab
Lil Uzi Vert posted the teaser on his official Instagram on the morning of Oct. 22. It has since amassed hundreds of thousands of viewers, similar to yesterday’s ASAP Rocky teaser.
The two trailers also share a similar art style, featuring bright colors and various other characters players can expect when the new season drops.
What to expect in this crossover
As covered in the ASAP Rocky announcement, recent Icon Series collaborations follow an identical format. We expect the Lil Uzi Vert Fortnite collaboration to feature two skins, Jam Tracks, and various other cosmetics.
Usually, one skin honors the celebrity’s real-life appearance, while the other is more creative and unique. That’s what we have seen with the recent YEAT, Lil Wayne, and Lil Tecca crossovers.
At this point, we expect the ASAP Rocky and Lil Uzi Vert collaborations to be separate from the Chapter 7 Mini-Season 3 Battle Pass. Neither rapper fits the rumored pirate, One Piece theme that leakers have referenced in the lead-up.
When is the Lil Uzi Vert collab launching?
Fortnite Chapter 7 Mini-Season 3 is expected to launch on Nov. 1. The Lil Uzi Vert collaboration likely won’t launch the same day, but later in the season. Epic Games tends to space partnerships out, but they’ve launched back-to-back on occasion.
We’ll have to wait and see as the teasers for the upcoming Fortnite season continue.
