Get out of here with that 30fps nonsense for Pikmin 4(NS2). No 60, no buy. What a joke.
Also, Pikmin 1-3 are still better on Wii & Wii U thanks to the Wii remote pointer implentation, zero drifting aside, the pointer aiming just covers so much more ground than when played with NS2 detached Joy-con 2's(Better yet, Hyperion3 Ultras for quality comfort, smooth gliding sticks, larger buttonse etc).
But if you're an analog stick aiming wiggler than playing 1-2 on NS2 with an NS2 Pro controller is the way to fly no doubt, especially with 3. Because I don't think 1080p really does 1&2 any favours, as it just exposes the muddy low environmental GameCube textures, and the characters end up looking less organic, more polygon'd & rough around the edges, especially when zooming in with the camera. It is what it is. GameCube was always designed to be played in either 480i SD or 480p for a reason.
Most people wont care though. Convenience, accesibility and pricing win at the end of the day. For me personally, I can only stand playing 1-3 with the Wii remote & Nunchuck on Wii & Wii U. I was really hoping for 4 in particular to get a 60fps boost on NS2, but alas.
